More Glitches from The New Scooby-Doo Movies

Here are more mistakes from the New Scooby-Doo Movies episode "Wednesday Is Missing," featuring the Addams Family:

There's no way Shaggy's candle can throw a shadow of itself on the wall.

The back of Morticia's neck turns black for a second.

Gomez and Morticia say they'll be on vacation for a few days. But in all that time, nobody goes to sleep. No wonder Shaggy's so tired throughout the episode!

New Scooby-Doo Movies Glitches -- The Exterminator (Don Adams)

We found even more bloopers from this episode of The New Scooby-Doo Movies. Here's a sample:

None of the bugs Don sprays actually die, they just fly away. His chemicals must be as ineffectual as he is.

Shaggy can't decide whether to enter the corridor or go back to the hallway. Aren't they the same thing?

Freddy's eyes actually pop right out of his head for a second.

Scooby-Doo Meets the Three Stooges Glitches

Lots of new glitches added to The New Scooby-Doo Movies episode Ghastly Ghost Town, guest-starring The Three Stooges. Take a look at these:

Curly doesn't move his lips to speak. Later, Shaggy does the same thing.

Freddy's eyebrows disappear.

Shaggy is so worried about rescuing Velma and the Stooges, he forgets all about Freddy and Daphne.

Moe has no pockets.

Not only Crunch, Rhino, and the Stooges, but also the whole gang have been exposed to dangerous radiation. And the sheriff lets Shaggy take a sample of uranium home to contaminate other innocents. See more glitches

More Scooby-Doo Movies Glitches: Sandy Duncan

There are more mistakes abroad when Scooby-Doo meets Sandy Duncan, like these:

We can see the phantom through the hedge, which could make sense, as it's just a prop. But Scooby's not visible behind the same hedge.

We know that can't be a coin slot in an Egyptian sarcophagus, not even in a phony prop; but then, what is it?

You might have to freeze-frame on the dog sled to see this: Velma sits down in an impossible pose in relation to the side rails, so that she's between the rails and behind those on the far side at the same time, kind of like an M.C. Escher print. Then the side rails disappear altogether, probably because the animator got so confused he just left them out. More glitches...

More Scooby-Doo Glitches: Mine Your Own Business

Can you believe there are even more glitches in the Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? episode Mine Your Own Business? Here's a sample:

Just who, or what, is peeking at Scooby through the keyhole? It can't be Hank.

Shaggy opens one side of the swinging saloon door, and the other opens by itself.

Nobody sees the Miner push two mugs over to Shaggy and Scooby, but he must be standing right there.

Our Scooby-Doo Goof

When we published the site Scooby-Doo Spooks Unmasked, we somehow forgot the Ghost Clown, one of the show's most iconic and well-remembered spooks. We have now rectified that unthinkable error and restored the creepy clown to his proper place on the list.

New Scooby-Doo Movies Glitches -- Jeannie

Far from the best episode of this series, but it does have some interesting glitches. Such as:

Daphne points out the driver's side window at the motorcycle. A second later, everybody looks out the passenger window at it.

Why does Freddy say, "Oh, no!" when he spots Jeannie? Has he got something against her?

The Mystery Machine is a van, not a truck.

When he starts swimming, Shaggy is wearing long sleeves.

Why does Babu think the bedouin is a ghost? It could be just a guy.

Facts About Jack McGee from The Incredible Hulk

As a fan of tv's The Incredible Hulk, and more particularly, of reporter Jack McGee as played by Jack Colvin, I often lamented that there was so little revealed about my favorite reporter. Here, then, are the facts as we know them:

  • His middle initial is R (The Waterfront Story)
  • He was born in May or June (Stop the Presses)
  • His home town is St. Louis (Mystery Man)
  • He served in the Air Force in Korea, but dislikes flying (also Mystery Man)
  • He plays golf (The Hulk Breaks Las Vegas)
  • He can scuba dive (Equinox)

The Best Jack McGee Episodes of The Incredible Hulk

If you're a Jack McGee fan, like me, you know that some episodes of The Incredible Hulk tv series are better at showcasing our favorite reporter than others. These are the best of the best for McGee fans:

  • Mystery Man: McGee and Banner strike up an unlikely, if temporary friendship, and Jack learns that the Hulk is really a man who transforms.
  • Prometheus: Jack displays his investigative skills and stick-to-it-ivity infiltrating a secret government complex.
  • The Hulk Breaks Las Vegas: Jack interacts with some friends for a change and tries to communicate with the Creature for the first time.
  • Equinox: McGee never gets closer to seeing John Doe's face than in this episode.
  • Proof Positive: Jack takes the spotlight, revealing tidbits about his personal life in the process.
  • Stop the Presses: McGee shows his ethical side. And shoots himself in the leg.

Scooby-Doo Glitches from Nowhere to Hyde

We've added some new bloopers for this episode, like:

This episode takes place in the gang's home town (note how Freddy comments they'd better head home). There is an alligator-filled swamp nearby, which leads us to believe they live somewhere in the south. Yet in Decoy for a Dognapper, their home town is near a desert pueblo.

We see a book titled Origin of Species, although the actual title, if it's the book we're all thinking of, is On the Origin of Species. There is also an even longer subtitle, but that might not be shown on the spine. More...

I love the Three Caballeros, and the television series currently available on Disney+, though not perfect, is a worthy addition to their legacy. Here are some stills and pre-production art that needs to be preserved for posterity.

The Incredible Jack McGee -- An Episode Guide

If you're like most people of a certain age, you tuned in to The Incredible Hulk every week to see what the Creature would smash this episode. Some, no doubt, also watched the show to catch David's transformation and surname of the week. But there were a few who knew the real reason to view the series: Jack McGee. The intrepid reporter didn't appear in every episode, but he kept things lively, forcing Banner to come up with ever-more-creative methods for dodging exposure.

This episode guide is for McGee-lovers everywhere.

The Incredible Hulk pilot

Intrepid reporter Jack McGee makes multiple requests to gain an interview with scientists David Banner and Elaina Marks for The National Register, a cheap, sensationalist newspaper beneath his talents. The scientists are studying human strength enhancement, but they refuse to grant him an interview. Jack even visits Dr. Marks's home, though it does him no good. When Dr. Banner's car is found smashed in a ditch, McGee investigates and finds enormous footprints at the scene. He further interviews a man and his young daughter who report an encounter with a 7-foot hulking greenish creature. McGee confronts Banner and Marks with a plaster cast of the prints, but they deny any knowledge of the Hulk. Convinced that the scientists are hiding something, McGee sneaks into their lab to learn more, finding evidence that the Creature had been there. Banner returns and finds Jack there, escorting the reporter outside just before the building explodes and McGee is knocked senseless. He comes to just in time to get his first look at the Hulk, which emerges from the blaze carrying Dr. Marks. McGee tries to find Dr. Banner, but it's impossible to enter the inferno. Dr. Marks is later found dead; Banner's body is never found at all. Jack makes it his mission to track down the Hulk and learn the true story of the Creature. More...
